¥ Distribute educational materials to women at risk of our diagnosed with breast, ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer and cancers of the vagina, vulva and fallopian tubes.
¥ Donate books, videos and other patient centered materials to hospitals and other treatment centers.
¥ Represent patientsÕ perspectives at cancer conferences, research meetings and cancer institutions on the local, state and national level.
¥ Represent cancer patients by reviewing grant proposals for cancer research.
¥ Work with researchers to develop patient-centered materials about medical research studies (called clinical trials).
¥ Speak with media, policy makers, doctors and researchers about the scientific and ethical concerns of those diagnosed with womenÕs cancers.
¥ Promote partnerships to provide cancer education and services to the medically underserved populations in order to eliminate the unequal burden of cancer among these women.
¥ Look for new opportunities in which to represent and benefit cancer patients.
